Double: Theme Thursday

We’ll go ahead and call this one what it is:

Double Trouble

This is part of my split view every Wednesday. ย I’m inside the gym, trying to watch Gianna and Aliya in two different gymnastics classes while also keeping an eye on the boys so they don’t trip anyone, kill each other (note the crazy eyes of the kid on the left), or run in the parking lot. ย As you can imagine, it’s a super restful hour and a half.

Head on over to Cari’s Theme Thursday to dizzy yourself with more double vision.

  1. They are cute trouble though!

  2. I know those crazy eyes All Too Well!

    • Oh veteran mother of many boys: when do they become sane? I’ve heard it happens at some point, but mostly it seems like an old wive’s tail. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. I’m sorry but they are so beautiful, Micaela! When I just had the three boys people would comment to me that boys were really easier anyway. Now that is ignorance speaking. I would say having one son is like having one son. Having two sons is like having a gang. A violent street gang.

    • Rebekah, that is so quotable. A violent street gang. I’m never going to forget it. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • True story: I took the kids out to lunch directly after reading your comment. As we were getting in the car, Gabe tried to rush/crawl under Zeke to get to his own seat (b/c Zeke always tries to steal it). Zeke just took the opportunity to use G as a step stool and launch himself halfway across the car into the coveted seat.

I cannot snorting with laughter over your comment. It is my life.

  4. I only have one son, but I totally get the crazy eyes. When his eyes look like that, he could be about to start a street gang. Who knows?

  5. I have a soft spot for blond little boys (who remind me of my sons), and I think yours are super cute. I realize I’m probably wearing rose-colored glasses these days, because it’s been eons since I had any little rascals underfoot. But I think little boys are the best! ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Laura, most of the time we have a blast. Sometimes though I feel like I must look like a complete fool to the world, with these boys and their shenanigans. But most of the time we have fun. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • You make me a little choked up just thinking about them being grown up. Never never ever!

  6. Omigosh! Totally mischievous cuteness.
