Delirious on the 4th of July: {Quick Takes}

1. This was the first week of Kevin’s summer vacation.  True to Murphy’s Law, I was deathly ill and Kevin had to call in for jury duty every day.

Let freedom ring, right?

In all fairness, he didn’t have to actually report, but those few minutes of calling every night were highly stressful.  Just go with me on this.

 

3. Things I wouldn’t have guessed about this week:

~That I would single-handedly go through a whole box of tissues in under 24 hours, and 2 boxes in just over 48.

~That a big part of this week would be shrouded in delirium.

~That my kids, who still managed to make a lot of trouble, would be so so sweet to their sick mama.

 

4. Things I already knew:

~That my hubby and my in-laws would step up to the plate.

~Ergo: nothing to complain about.  (Except I still am. Complaining, that is.)

 

5.  Theme Thursday: Sand

Which I am apparently going to re-name “Theme Whenever I Get to It.” Ridiculous.

These photos are from Half Moon Bay, California: the coldest place on the California coast per my highly accurate estimations, and also supposedly a breeding ground for great white sharks.  Awwwwwwwwesome.
