Close-up portraits: Theme Thursday

I’m enjoying these Theme Thursday, friends.  It is, apparently, the only weekly post I’m getting up right now, but you forgive me right?  I mean, after all… wait.  I just realized I haven’t made the announcement on the blog.

I’m pregnant!  Yay!

Whew.  So even though I have totally sucked at blogging since Rosalie was born (in a liquor store parking lot… prob nothing to do with the blogging suckage) you must endure a little bit/forevermore.  For those of you that have stuck around, you have my undying love.

Anyway… Baby Darr, version 6.0, due June 2016.

Back to the Theme Thursday…

This week we’re doing close-ups!  And so, again, even though I actually practiced, really and for reals, I’m going back to baby photos. Because I’m pregnant ad Rosalie is coming up on her 1st birthday and so we’re having an all.the.hormones.all.the.time party over here.

Next week we’re doing group photos!  Which will also be my Christmas card reveal because if my evil plans go well, I’ll be taking a group picture of the kids this Friday. Yessssssss. Here’s a helpful post on getting authentic smiles and reactions in group photos.  Here’s another one with a bunch of tips on family photos, broken down into those taken at home and those on location.

Don’t forget to visit your fellow linkers and share the love!

  13. Congratulations on baby #6! This is one of the things I’ve absolutely loved about joining the Catholic blogging world: all of you young Catholic moms are having much larger families than most of us were back in my younger days. My husband and I had five sons, and at the Catholic schools our boys attended, we were a “big” family. I only knew one family well that had more than we did, and they had six. But every time I stop in to visit my favorite Catholic blogs, there seems to be a pregnancy or birth announcement. It is so incredibly wonderful to see this trend! It gives me such hope for the future and for the Faith.

And I want to apologize for joining your Facebook book club and then being a no-show. I can’t seem to keep up with anything these days. I’m too busy traveling about to visit with my kids and grandkids.

    Again, congratulations!!
