Bright: Theme Thursday

What I really wanted to do for the theme of “Bright” this week was to take one of those really cool night photos that leaves the lens open for a long time and captures swirls of color from passing cars, etc.  (What a technical sentence, I know.)  Alas, life was… life, and by the time night fell and the kids were asleep each night this week, there was no. flippin’. way I was going out of the house to possibly capture a photo that may or may not have been cool.

Plan B: It’s time to re-do my “about” page (listed in the tabs above as “The Globetrotters”).  Snow hats are so… Korea, don’t you think?  So I sought out some cool photos of the kids that I captured in the last week or two.  A) My kids are the brightness in my life and B) most of the photos were on the bright side, so double whammy.

This boy.  His soul is so sunshine bright it hurts a mother’s heart.

My photography in California has taken a hit.  I’ve been so busy with… again, life, that I’ve fallen off practicing.  Must remedy that soon.

In case you haven’t heard, Dwija and her family are greatly in need of prayers.  They lost their precious son Nicholas Robert on Monday.  If you can, be a bright candle in their time of darkness and pray, pray, pray for healing for their family.
